This picture was shot early in the morning in a narrow street of old Kashi which was not far away from the Ganges.
Those men were emerging from the smoke as if they had to leave a dream and carry on reality.
Dreams and reality melt in eternal Varanasi (Benaras)…

  1. I have for some time noticed your splendid pictures from varanasi.Absolutely high standard for India.
    I have been to Varanasi several times for the last few years and will be there from feb.17th to 26th of Feb. Would it be possible to meet at your studio.
    I have been a theatre set and costume designer for many years.I am enthrolled with Varanasi and will be there for Mahashivratri,stay at Hotel Divya,Assi ghat.
