This picture was shot a few days ago along the Ganges in Varanasi (Benaras) where this young devotee came to worship in front of the little Vishnu temple which is under Nepali ghat.
It is a simple image in order to start 2011 and to wish you all peace, harmony and happiness.
This is also an opportunity to thank everyone there for your constant support.
Your words, mails and comments give me a true energy to carry on my work, to wake up sometimes before sunrise and go to the river, to walk in the city under the unbearable heat of summers or during those endless monsoons of the rainy seasons.
Sometimes I do crazy things for a picture but I know that someone might enjoy this.
It is always a pleasure to read you even if I don’t answer back often, mostly because of the “very bad” internet connection that I have to face here in Varanasi and those long power cuts that I am dealing with.

(This is a private message for my close friends and family whom I can’t reach now as internet is not working, here it is 2:30 am, it is still “last year” for many of you.
It is raining heavily since this evening, a cold rain coming from the Himalayas reminding many new year’s eves of my past and my thoughts are with you, I wish you could all be there in this wild, fascinating and amazing place…!!!)

Once again, thank you for being there.
LOVE to everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR…!!!
