“He hangs in shades the orange bright,
Like golden lamps in a green night.”
(Andrew Marvell – English Poet, 1621-1678)

Under Nepali ghat in Varanasi (Benaras) there is a small temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu where a few priests come in the evening in order to perform a water-pouring ritual.
After having a bath in the holy waters of the Ganges this man used this orange fabric in order to dry his skin.
This bright colour was contrasting with sthe green shades of the river.
He knew I was taking a few pictures, he even smiled at me on some but I decided to upload only those where we can’t see his face.
