The Key to Happiness

“The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be”.
(Marcel Pagnol – French Writer and Film Director, 1895-1974)

It was in the beggining of the afternoon, I left the bank of the Ganges and I stepped up a ghat in order to go in the oldest part of Varanasi (Benaras).
There was no one there as if there was no more past, present or future.Maybe it was the key to happiness…

that ” the door ” was never locked.

    thanks for this silent space!
    best regards

  2. Image wonderfully illustrates ‘silent space’ as spiritchild wrote. It had a soothing effect as soon as I saw it. Could just breath within its parameters.
    Quote is good too. Merci.
