By the Master’s Guidance

14 By the Master's Guidance

“Whoever quenches the fire of desire through the holy Word,
Spontaneously is his illusion of duality banished.
Such is he in whose heart the Name dwells, by the Master’s guidance.”
(Guru Granth Sahib Adi Granth).

This is another shot taken last Friday at the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib which is located near Connaught Place in Delhi.
This young men was praying in a state of grace in the pool which is facing the Temple.
He is observing the five physical symbols worn by Sikhs who have been initiated into the Khalsa, commonly named the 5 Ks:
Kesh (uncut hair)
Kara (a steel bracelet)
Kanga (a wooden comb)
Kaccha – also spelt, Kachh, Kachera (cotton underwear)
Kirpan (steel sword)

It was just before sunset and the golden reflection of the Gurdwara (temple) in the waters was adding a spiritual touch to the moment.
I showed him my pictures as he was leaving the pool.
