“If a congused and distracted person took even a single flower and offered it to a Buddha image, he would come to see countless Buddhas”.
(Lotus Sutra 2)

No matter how little we have to offer, when we can give, we should give.
Giving a flower, receiving a flower, this is the greatest delight.
When this happens, giver and receiver both see Buddhas all around.
(“What would Buddha do?” by Franz Metcalf)

I am always fascinated by pink Lotuses (Sanskrit: padma; Tibetan: pad ma dmar po).
Those were offered to the Great Buddha himself, under the Bodhi Tree which is in Bodh Gaya (बोधगया) located in the Indian state of Bihar.
