“Most people spend the best years of their lives in the place of the known.
They lack the courage to venture out into foreign territory and are frightened to leace the crowd.
They want to fit in and are afraid to stand out.
They dress like everyone else, think like everyone else and behave like everyone else, even if doing so doesn’t feel right to them.
They are reluctant to listen to the call of their hearts and try new things, refusing to leave that shore of safety.
They do what everybody else does.
In so doing, their once-shinning souls begin to darken.
Success lies in being true to yourself_and living life on your own terms”.
(“Daily Inspiration” by Robin Sharma)

I found that those words by Robin Sharma were matching this image of this man buying a few bananas while his train stopped for a few minutes at Varanasi Railway Station (Benaras).
I was waitng for a friend from Delhi, his train was late and the sun was already high giving great lights and shadows on the platform.
I enjoyed to see people with so many backgrounds in such a short time, some were speaking several languages, some were wearing amazing garments, it was the magic of being in such a railway station.
Just after I took this picture some naughty monkeys came and stole many fruits from the passengers and the banana seller.
I really wish to everyone to be able to come and to spend a few minutes in such a place at least once in a lifetime…;)
