“The oldest living city in the world”.

This is a picture of Mister Kamaludin Khan’s son.
Like his father he is spending his life among colours in the upper terrace located near the Bivi Razaia Masjid, a small mosque located in the chawk of Varanasi (Benaras).
He is dyeing shades like others manipulate words, each piece of work becomes a poem, a poem in silk, light as chiffon.
That day he was working on this turquoise blue-green shade and he wanted me to take a few pictures in order to remember the magic of this colour.
