“We enjoy playing with each other, which I think is a pretty important part of this.
If we didn’t, we’d have given it up a long time ago.
The idea when we started was to take five people and keep ‘em together no matter what and see what we could get out of it, and we’ve pretty much stuck to that plan.”
(Tom Petty – American Rock star, Guitarist and Singer (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers) b.1950)

“Everyone should have an experience like ‘The Heartbreakers’ in their musical life; creativity, passion, honesty, integrity, and a lot of fun.”
(Steve Ferrone – English drummer)

“When musicians such as Eric Clapton, Anita Baker, Jeffrey Osborne, George Benson and Chaka Khan searched for the best drummer they could find, their searches led them to Steve Ferrone.
Steve’s tasteful musicality and powerful groove has made him one of the most popular drummers in music today. Steve first came to international prominence while playing with the Average White Band during the 1970s.
Nowadays, he uses his talents as the drummer for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.”

“The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people’s reality, and eventually in one’s own.”
(Susan Sontag – American Writer, Activist and Critic, 1933-2004)

I took this picture while we were shooting a moving scene with Hussain Kuwajerwala and Mansi Sadana.
It was in Hussain’s green room during “Zangoora – The Gypsy Prince”, I kept on hiding my reflection in the mirrors and I was also trying anything in order to cover my camera’s click sounds…
I was happy to work with actors such as this amazing team with simpleness, kindness and high professionalism everywhere.

“Actors ought to be larger than life.
You come across quite enough ordinary, nondescript people in daily life and I don’t see why you should be subjected to them on the stage too.”
