The picture is blur but this was the best I could do as I was spellbindingly behaving like a fan and forgetting my camera for a while…
Last night he could have claimed to be “The Voice” as he was reminding the presence of another eternal icon.

This picture was shot a few minutes ago while Gorge Michael was paying a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse by singing her hit, “Love Is A Losing Game”.
George Michael is back with a brilliant and classy show (Symphonica : The Orchestral Tour).

For a change I wanted to add the lyrics of a Indian pop song to one of my picture, this song has a very addictive tune it is coming from the movie “Karz”.
I always liked Himesh Reshammiya’s songs despite the criticism and controversies going around his voice and work.
This picture was shot before sunset at the entrance of the Small Sas Bahu temple in Gwalior located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
This temple, initially dedicated to Vishnu, was built in red sandstone during the 10th century.

The King of the Swingers

This is a portrait of King Louis who wants to be a human.
This expressive langur was the first animal I met while entering into the jungle of Bandhavgarh in the Indian state Madhya Pradesh.

This man kept my attention as he was coming back from a bath in the holy waters of the Ganges.
I took several shots like this one as he was standing at Ahilyabai ghat washing his colourful dhoti.
I don’t know what was on his mind, the wings of the soul carry everything away in Vanarasi (Benaras), the oldest living city in the world…

Over the Silk Road

 

This is one more picture that I have shot at the upper terrace which is at a few meters from Bivi Razaia Masjid, a small mosque, located in the chawk of Varanasi (Benaras).

Up there I know a Muslim family who works on the dyeing process of the famous silk Banarsi sarees.

I like to come there and to walk  among the saris which are drying under the sun.

Each time a new color spreads out, like an offer with no restraint to the celestial king of light. 

There is a dreamy atmosphere which takes me somewhere over the Silk road like in a ghazal by Shujaat Husain Khan…

 

 

Heaven is White

 

This is another portrait of Christophe with the famous jazz trumpeter Erik Truffaz in the background.

My friend Erik invited Christophe with whom he often performed to sing “L’un dans l’autre” on his album “Arkhangelsk”.

The link of the video with English subtitles shows the recording of this beautiful and touching song.

Le paradis est blanc (Heaven is white) is a metaphor that we can listen among those words of poetry.

 

 

Voici un autre portrait de Christophe au côté du célèbre trompettiste de jazz Erik Truffaz.

Mon ami Erik a invité Christophe avec lequel il s’est souvent produit à chanter  “L’un dans l’autre” sur son album “Arkhangelsk”.

Christophe is a French famed singer and talented songwriter.
His first hit was “Aline” in 1965 and he is famous for his eternal songs “Les Paradis perdus” (“Lost Paradises” – 1973) and “Les Mots bleus” (“The Blue Words” – 1975).
Whenever he is performing he is illuminating the stage, gathering any kind of people from all generations.
Christophe is a decadent and flamboyant dandy who is a mysterious loner drifting apart from the showbiz scene.
He is notorious for being an uncontrollable rebel with panache and poetry.

Christophe est un chanteur français connu et un talentueux parolier.
Son premier succes “Aline” est sorti en 1965, ensuite ses chansons éternelles comme “Les Paradis perdus” (1973) et “Les Mots bleus” (1975) lui ont permis de trouver une grande popularité.
Lorsqu’il se produit il illumine la scène, rassemblant un public de toutes sortes et de toutes générations. 
Christophe est un dandy décadent et flamboyant qui est un solitaire mystérieux en retrait de l’industrie du divertissement.
C’est un rebel incontrolable mais avec panache et poésie.
