This picture was shot last afternoon at Chet Singh ghat along the holy waters of the Ganges in Varanasi (Benaras).The oldest living city in the world was then preparing the celebrations of Dev Diwali and people were displaying candles everywhere.
This devotee was sitting among those diyas made from clay, with a cotton wick dipped in ghee.
It was the last moments of quietness before that started the festival of lights.
